Agreements and Actions For the Future Of Pollinators

The Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park is the coordinating beneficiary of the LIFE BEEadapt project, and its territory coincides with a pilot area of the project. Within this area, the project aims to reduce the vulnerability of the territory to climate change by filling temporal and spatial gaps in the availability of food sources and shelter for pollinators.

An important aspect of the LIFE BEEadapt project is the governance efforts carried out by its partners, particularly through the two tools of Stewardship Agreements and the signing of the Pact for the Protection of Pollinators from Climate Change.

The Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park, the project’s coordinating beneficiary and manager of one of the five pilot areas, has worked consistently and efficiently to reach as many farms and cooperatives in its territory as possible, achieving excellent results.

This will ensure the positive effects of LIFE BEEadapt in this area continue even after its conclusion.
